“The Water Man” that is being executive produced by Oprah Winfrey, directed by and starring David Oyelowo. He said to Deadline, “‘The Water Man’ as written by Emma Needell is that rare, beautiful script that can touch your heart and challenge your mind while also lifting your spirits... I feel blessed to be entrusted with bringing [it] to life.” We echo Oyelowo’s sentiment about Emma’s voice and beautiful storytelling.
