Nicki Paluga (2007) is working on an adaptation of a YA book called Wings by Aprilynne Pike for Temple Hill and Disney,as well as developing an original pilot for HBO.
Raised in Ohio, Nicki Paluga is a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film Program where she received numerous awards and fellowships. During her time at Columbia, Paluga penned a supernatural horror feature titled The Swiss Village, which garnered the Zaki Gordon Award for Excellence in Screenwriting, the Kathryn Parlan Hearst Screenwriting Award, and attracted invitations to both the Nantucket Screenwriter’s Colony and the IFP Film Directing Lab. She now lives in Los Angeles where she frequently writes for Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert. Currently, she is developing an original series at HBO with executive producer Michael London (Sideways, The Visitor) and director Debra Granik (Winter’s Bone).
