Kaitlin Fontana


Kaitlin Fontana is a comedy producer, writer, director, and performer, and a National Magazine award-winning essayist and culture journalist. Her work has been featured on MTV, CBC, and CTV, Vulture, Reductress.com, and in Rolling Stone, SPIN, and Entertainment Weekly. Kaitlin is the creator and head writer of The Box, an intersectional feminist comedy, panel, and interview show currently in development for digital. She is the co-creator of We Love TV, the best and only live spec script show.

She and her WLTV co-conspirators Luke Ward and Sean Reidy run Foreward Productions, a full service comedy production house. She co-wrote and starred in CTV’s election comedy series The Party, and her pilot script, Casey Can’t, was a finalist in the 2015 Launchpad Pilot Competition. Kaitlin is a featured performer at the Peoples Improv Theater. She was born in Fernie, BC, Canada, a distinction she shares with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson.
