Francisco worked extensively as a producer, researcher and writer in documentaries in his native Argentina before moving to the United States to pursue an MFA in Film and TV production at the University of Southern California.  After completing his studies he’s been working as a screenwriter, writing consultant and script doctor in Buenos Aires and in Los Angeles.
He wrote UNIT XV, a period drama that won the Work in Progress Award at the 2017 Santiago International Film Festival and is currently in post-production.
Francisco also has several feature films in different stages of pre-production and development, including contemporary western THE SILENCE OF THE HUNTER, developed with the support of Spain’s 2016 IBERMEDIA project development fund and STONEFLY, a psychological thriller with social and political undertones, coproduced by Honora Films and Good Fear, which will be shooting on location in Detroit.
