Brandon Maurice Williams (2004) is a filmmaker who earned his BFA (Screenwriting/Directing) from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, his MFA (Screenwriting) from the University of Miami, and currently is a PhD student within the school of Anthropology and Social Change at California Institute for Integral Studies in San Francisco where he also is an adjunct professor teaching a course entitled Screenwriting for Social Change. Brandon has taught filmmaking to urban youth, instructed undergraduate screenwriting courses and workshops, and is currently developing feature film projects in Los Angeles where his socio-political horror screenplay “Curse the Darkness” is being produced by Elijah Wood’s Spectrevision film company in 2014 with Mexican director Jorge Michael Grau at the helm.
